Meridian Jet Center Appoints Per Karlsson as New Director of Jet Maintenance

TETERBORO, NJ, January 18, 2008
Meridian Jet Center, a private aviation services company, recently promoted Per Karlsson as their new Director of Jet Maintenance. Mr. Karlsson is responsible for all aspects of operations for Meridian’s Maintenance Department.

“Per excelled in his previous positions as aircraft Mechanic and as Crew Chief; he consistently takes on new job responsibilities. It is only fitting to appoint Per to this position now as Meridian is positioning themselves as the premier MRO in the Northeast,” said John Langschultz, VP Meridian Jet Maintenance.

Mr. Karlsson has been with Meridian since 1999. Prior to working with Meridian he was employed by Air Castle Inc. as well as Air Charter Caldwell Air Service, T.R. Pegasus and GlennAir Inc. /Tag Aviation. Throughout his career Per has worked with a range of aircraft as an aircraft technician, lead technician, and most recently Meridian Jet Center’s Crew Chief. He was trained and educated in Sweden and Canada and the US and is an experienced flight instructor.
